01Public website
The public Zuelen website uses strictly necessary cookies and storage for preferences and certain requested flows.
Zuelen uses Google Analytics 4 to measure website usage and Google Ads to attribute conversions and measure campaign performance, with Google’s consent mode. With your consent, these services may set and read measurement cookies or identifiers. Without your consent, they neither set nor read any measurement cookies: they only receive cookieless signals (such as the consent state, the page viewed, a timestamp and technical browser information), with no persistent identifier and no ad personalisation. With your consent only, Zuelen also loads the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland) to measure the performance of our ads on Facebook and Instagram: it sets the “_fbp” cookie and, after a click on an ad, the “_fbc” cookie. Without your consent, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and Meta receives no data from the website.
02Strictly necessary application cookies
The Zuelen application uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain a secure session, refresh authentication and protect sign-in flows. Supabase provides the related authentication infrastructure.
An active-workspace cookie retains the selected organisation. A fiscal-year cookie retains the chosen financial year. These elements support functionality requested by the user and are not used for advertising.
The application’s sign-in and setup pages use Google Analytics, Google Ads and, with your consent only, the Meta Pixel to measure account creation from our campaigns, following the choice made on zuelen.lu: without your consent, no measurement cookies are set. These services are never loaded on pages that show your accounting data.
03Preference storage
The application may use browser local storage to remember the light or dark theme preference. This preference remains on the device and is not used to track the user across websites.
04Third-party services
Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta process measurement and attribution data, within the limits described above according to your choice, to understand website usage and campaign effectiveness. When you choose Google OAuth or enter Stripe’s payment flow, those services may also use their own cookies on their domains for authentication, security, fraud prevention and payment. Videos embedded on the website load only when you click “Play video”, from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode): before that click, no data is sent to YouTube; afterwards, YouTube (Google) may use its own cookies or storage for playback. Their respective policies apply to these third-party services.
05Your choices
The consent banner lets you accept, reject or manage optional measurement. Until you accept, Google measurement works without cookies and the Meta Pixel is not loaded, as described above; ad personalisation always stays off. Your choice is remembered in browser local storage and in a “zuelen_consent” cookie (value “granted” or “denied”, kept for 6 months) shared with app.zuelen.lu, so that the application’s sign-in and setup pages follow the same choice. You can change this choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies and storage through your browser.
06Changes
If Zuelen later adds a non-essential technology requiring consent, this policy and an appropriate consent mechanism will be updated before activation.
